Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer

Key responsibilities 主要职责： "Mechanical Design: Lead the mechanical design of electron columns and test stands. Electron columns include various types of optical elements such as electrostatic and/or magnetic deflectors and/or lenses, etc. Design for vacuum systems and high voltage applications, ensuring all components meet required specifications. Select appropriate materials based on mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties to ensure reliability and performance. Vendor Management: Contact and collaborate with vendors to source and evaluate components and materials. Negotiate pricing, timelines, and technical specifications with suppliers. Manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of parts. Testing and Validation: Develop and implement testing protocols for components, including vacuum and high voltage performance. Conduct validation tests on assemblies to ensure compliance with design specifications and performance criteria. Analyze test results and make necessary design adjustments to improve performance and reliability. Tooling and Assembly: Design and develop specialized tooling required for the assembly of electron columns and test stands. Oversee and participate in the assembly process, ensuring accuracy and precision. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during assembly or testing. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and engineering reports. Document test procedures, results, and any modifications made during the design and testing phases." Key requirement 资历要求 : "Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a high-tech environment. Experience with electron column design or similar high-tech, precision equipment. Knowledge of opto-mechanical systems and optical alignment techniques. Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and procedures. Strong knowledge of vacuum systems, high voltage design, and materials science. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools for stress and thermal analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience working with vendors and managing supplier relationships. "
