SCM Staff Engineer- ESC

1. Closely and timely work with global suppliers (especially Japanese suppliers) for design change, delivery schedule, payment clean, and supporting quality control; 2. Daily RFQ, price negotiation, payment terms and conditions, delivery with suppliers and maintain price info in system; 3. Develop new suppliers when need and qualify them per AMEC process; 4. Proactively execute annual cost reduction plan, responsible for resolving discrepancies between cost targets and quote; 5. SCM strategy development & implement: data analysis, dual sourcing, supplier positioning & analysis, long-lead-time management, risk analyasis & mitigation, cost analysis, etc.; 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for projects; 7. Complete other related work assigned by manager. Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering (prefer in Mechanical Engineering, Industry Engineering, or similar engineering major) with 3+ years experience in supply chain management, sourcing, or program management. 2. Must have trackable Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics or related commodity work experience. 3. Can understand BOM. Can understand engineering drawings. Can use 3D modeling and PLM software. 4. English proficiency at limited professional working level or above. (Elementary - Limited working(basic phrases) - Professional working(meeting) - Full professional working - Native/Bilingual) 5. Have trackable sourcing, negotiation, supplier management experience. 6. Have knowledge of manufacturing, and commodities strategy development. 7. A self-starter. Can manage daily work independently with limited supervision. 8.Japanese proficiency at full professional working level or above.
