Director of Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities:  Deliberate with management, customer, and marketing staff on the possible requirements and procedures for a project  Organize and manage mechanical team, making detailed plans that work towards the fulfillment of a set objective  Direct, evaluate, and confirm design and changes to deliver high quality products on schedule  Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering and technical work  Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees in their work station  Supervise the development and maintenance of staff abilities and suitability in the organization  Manage the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and CIP of facilities and equipment  Collaborate with functional groups to make development progressing smoothly  Troubleshoot a variety of complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve a variety of difficult engineering issues Requirements:  Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering  10+ years’ experience in the semiconductor equipment development  5+ working years as a mechanical engineering manager is required  Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, thermal, flow and material engineering  Extensive knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)  Familiarity with SEMI S2/S8 specification  Strong Leadership, problem-solving, communication, organizational and planning skills
