Responsibilities System schematic diagram design. Design parts and modules of semiconductor equipment, output 2D drawings and create model numbers, BOMs. Develop and design testing fixtures, and collect testing data. Work with suppliers to develop parts machining, cleaning, and inspection methods. Issue purchasing orders for parts and follow delivery status. Build lab tools and test functions, create testing reports. Collaborate with functional groups to develop integration, testing, and shipping procedures. Troubleshoot problems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolve engineering issues. Handle the continuous improvement process(CIP) and cost reduction. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 10 years' experience in equipment development. Strong learning and adapting ability, update relevant knowledge and skills according to the pace of the project. Preferred experience in the development of toxic or flammable process equipment. Excellent professional skills (mechanical design ability), good understanding of material mechanics and strength calculations Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques. Basic knowledge of vacuum, flow dynamics, heat transfer, material science, and safety. Proficient with engineering design software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Proficient in using FEA software for strength analysis of design. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
