Senior Application Engineer

Application Engineer Job Description We are seeking a talented and motivated Applications Engineer with a strong background in process control, automated optical Inspection (AOI), yield enhancement, defect inspection, and dimensional measurement in the semiconductor manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will work closely with our engineering, product development, and customer support teams to drive customer satisfaction and contribute to our business growth. Qualifications 1. BS, MS or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field. 2. 7+ years of experience in applications engineering, AOI, defect inspection, or yield enhancement in the semiconductor Fab or equipment industry. 3. Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, defect inspection, classification, metrology and yield management. 4. Experience with AOI systems, metrology sensors, image processing, and data analysis tools. 5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, cross-functional teams, and management. 7. Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support customers and field operations.
